Why can't I hear anything?

This article suggests some preliminary troubleshooting steps if the game cannot be heard.

The first setting to check is the in-game volume option:

1. Open the main menu
2. Click Configuration
3. Click Options
4. Scroll down to find the Master Volume setting and ensure it is above zero

If the in-game volume was enabled, a good second setting to check is the system per-app volume:

Windows

Windows has a per-application volume setting here:

1. Right-click the speaker icon in the bottom right of the taskbar
2. Click Open Volume mixer
3. Find Unturned in the list of applications
4. Ensure the app volume is above zero, and that the mute icon below is not enabled

If the per-app volume was enabled it may also be worth checking the right per-app output device is used:

1. Right-click the speaker icon in the bottom right of the taskbar
2. Click Open Sound settings
3. Scroll down to Advanced sound options and select App volume and device preferences
4. Find Unturned in the list of applications
5. Ensure both Input and Output devices are set to Default, or click Reset at the bottom of the list
